What is AOC C32V1Q?

The AOC C32V1Q is a widescreen monitor that offers good value for money. Read this review of The AOC C32V1Q to know more about it.

AOC C32V1Q – Image Quality

The AOC C32V1Q is a curved 31.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) widescreen monitor. It is based on the VA Panel. It covers 102% of the sRGB color gamut and supports true 8-bit color depth.

The color accuracy of this monitor is decent. The images appear vibrant and colors pop out. The overall color quality is very good and you can use it for almost anything like watching movies, playing games, etc. without having any problems with image quality. I wouldn’t recommend it for color-critical work like graphic design.

The VA panels are popular for their superior contrast levels. The AOC C32V1Q has a contrast level of 3000:1. Such high contrast level results in images having more depth.

The blacks appear darker and whites appear brighter. The colors appear more distinctive and stand apart from each other looking true to life. The curved screen adds more immersion during watching movies or playing games.

It has a brightness level of 250-nits which is the standard brightness level for most budget monitors. It is neither too bright nor too dim and should be decent enough for most users.

The AOC C32V1Q has wide and relaxed viewing angles. You get 178 degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles with this monitor. There won’t be any washed-out colors like you see in TN Panel monitors when you view it from different angles.

The monitor we reviewed had no dead pixels on it. There was only a slight amount of bleeding towards the edges. It is definitely tolerable and was only observed in dark parts of a movie or a game.

The AOC C32V1Q also has an anti-glare coating on it that handles the reflections which form on it effectively.

Overall, the image quality of the AOC C32V1Q is satisfactory. It did not pose any major problems and produce good looking images with vivid colors.

AOC C32V1Q – Design, Ergonomics, and Connectivity

The AOC C32V1Q is a curved monitor. It has a curvature of 1800R. It comes in a simple Frameless design. The bezels are ultra-thin. They maximize the viewing area and minimize distractions when you use it for a multi-monitor setup. The plastic used on the monitor comes in a glossy finish.

The build quality of the monitor is decent. It uses good quality plastic that feels strong and durable. The stand comes in a tripod design. It is made of metal and stands sturdy without any wobble.

There is a joystick present on the lower bezel. It functions as the power buttons and also helps you navigate the OSD menu. It is a much better option than using buttons.

The ergonomics of the stand are only limited to the tilt functionality. You cannot adjust the height of the monitor, swivel it, or rotate it. Thankfully there is a 75x75mm VESA pattern present using which you can wall mount this monitor or connect it to a third-party stand.

The connectivity options of the AOC C32V1Q are generous. It has HDMI 1.4 x 1, DisplayPort 1.2 x 1, VGA x 1. There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The ports and VESA pattern are neatly placed inside an access panel. You will need to remove it to use them.

AOC C32V1Q – Gaming Performance

The AOC C32V1Q is decent for casual gaming.

It has a refresh rate of 75Hz. It is a small but noticeable bump from 60Hz. You will definitely feel a difference in the smoothness of games.

It has a 4ms response time and its input lag is around 10ms. The input lag is imperceptible. There were also no issues of ghosting or trailing and motion blur in games.

It doesn’t support gaming features like FreeSync and G-Sync.

Do keep in mind that the AOC C32V1Q was intended for general usage and not for hardcore gaming. You can use it for casual gaming but don’t expect too much from it.

It is also a great choice for consoles like Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PS4. The curved screen makes gameplay more immersive.

AOC C32V1Q – Features

The AOC C32V1Q has a Low blue mode. It filters the blue light emitted from the monitor and makes it easy to use the monitor for long hours without any eye strain.

It is also flicker-free. You won’t have any headaches even after using this monitor for a prolonged period of time.

The OSD menu allows you to adjust various settings like contrast, brightness, color temperature, etc. It is a user friendly and fairly staring forward.
